It was a fairly late evening when it started, a knock on the door, we assumed it was the local kids playing knock, door and run. It wasn't the first time this had happened, it was in fact a semi-regular, not to mention, irritating occurrence. They would hide around the alley nearby and then one was deployed to knock... you would hear the footsteps of the child run, usually the youngest was to blame.
